When you post a comment on this blog, you will be asked for your email address and name. I just wanted to make sure that you know that these are for verification purposes only, and will not be added to any lists whatsoever, or used for any mass mailings. The reason for this is, of course, to ensure that comments are coming from real people and not from automated bots that spend their days merilly attempting to crash websites and blogs just for fun by posting comments and spam to sites that don’t require membership. The alternative to this is to force anyone that wants to publish a comment to first create an account, which is more process than its worth.
